Caylee Wood

Senior Investigator

Caylee is a New Zealand qualified lawyer, admitted to the Bar in 2020. She began her legal career advocating for Indigenous peoples’ rights before moving into dispute resolution and employment law, where she developed a strong interest in workplace investigations. Her legal work included managing litigation files and conducting investigations into alleged workplace misconduct, bullying, harassment, sexual harassment, abuse of power, and health and safety issues. After a period of travel, Caylee relocated to London and joined Howlett Brown as an Investigator in November 2024.

She enjoys the meaningful and challenging nature of the work, as well as being part of a collaborative and purpose-driven team. Her time spent managing employment disputes and advising on complex workplace issues means she is well-versed in identifying risk, navigating sensitive dynamics, and understanding the broader legal and organisational context in which workplace issues arise. She has led and supported investigations across a range of industries and brings a practical and empathetic approach to each matter she handles. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, reading and exploring new places and cultures.
