Eram Akram

Eram has over 4 years of investigations, people advisor, inclusion and belonging, and employee relations experience. Eram has spent most of her career at the Co-op, and joined Howlett Brown in July 2024. 

Eram has extensive experience investigating high risk and complex grievance and misconduct issues across Retail, Funeralcare, Logistics, and Corporate businesses and industries. 

Eram’s passion for inclusion and equity led her to co-found a network for minority colleagues at the Co-op, and to work with the business to collect diversity data, speak up about Black Lives Matter and Islamophobia, as well as other issues affecting minority individuals in the workplace. 

As a single mother to a 14 year old boy, Eram is committed to breaking gender norms and cultural expectations within the South Asian community. Eram enjoys reading, and cross stitch.
