Sadie MacDonald is a Senior Associate at Howlett Brown and an Australian-qualified employment lawyer with a number of years of experience in employment law advisory and investigations.
Sadie has experience in leading and supporting investigations relating to whistleblower complaints, grievances, misconduct issues, discrimination, microaggressions, retaliation, harassment and sexual harassment for large corporate clients across a breadth of industries and geographies. This experience includes managing and advising on any legal and compliance risks associated with the investigations or issues at hand as well as conducting investigations and leading key witness interviews.
Sadie’s experience also extends to providing strategic employment law advice to corporate clients on both contentious and non-contentious issues, including post-employment restraints, confidential information, pay, employment contracts and exiting of employees and executives.
Sadie delivers training to people of all levels across organisations on matters pertaining employment law, HR, employee relations and protected characteristics in the workplace.
Sadie also advises on the drafting and implementation of workplace policies, including those relating to whistleblowing, harassment, discrimination and other workplace grievances.
