Sehrish Ashiq

Investigator

Sehrish is an Investigator at Howlett Brown with over eight years of experience in intelligence, investigations, and financial crime across UK law enforcement and the private sector. She has led and supported complex cases involving fraud, corruption, and insider threat, combining analytical precision with a nuanced understanding of behaviour and risk.

Before joining Howlett Brown, Sehrish held senior roles at the National Crime Agency and City of London Police, collaborating with government bodies, regulators, and financial institutions to tackle financial crime and mitigate organisational risk.

Since joining Howlett Brown, Sehrish specialises in workplace investigations into bullying, harassment, sexual harassment, discrimination, misconduct, fraud, controls failings, whistleblowing, microaggressions, wellbeing and breaches of organisational culture and ethics. She helps organisations understand the root cause of people-related issues and delivers evidence-based, independent investigations that are fair, objective, and culturally aware.

She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDL), MSc in Terrorism, Security and Policing, and a BA in Criminology – a pathway that inspired her passion for law, governance, and the psychology of risk.

In her spare time Sehrish has explored creative and disciplined pursuits and has written published articles for Saenguin Suits – a platform celebrating individuality and resilience to training as a white-collar boxer. She also recently appeared as an Intelligence Analyst on Channel 4’s Celebrity Hunted.
