Zoe Mortimer - Head of Culture & ESG
Zoe’s hybrid experience complements the work of Howlett Brown by bringing her expertise in corporate transactional law and Diversity and Inclusion strategy for one of the world’s most known accounting firms. Her work spans advising financial institutions on regulation changes through to creating metrics for D&I teams ensuring accountability and working with senior level executives on authenticity of D&I practices. In addition, Zoe acted as a senior lead corporate lawyer advising start-ups, small business and charities in company matters, including share purchases and buybacks, and she remains in house counsel for a social enterprise that works with young people from underrepresented and low-social backgrounds.
Zoe’s passion and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion saw her step beyond her previous day to day role by advocating for those who experienced racist behaviour, acting as a point of contact for those outside of HR who needed an alternative route to raise complaints of inappropriate behaviour.
Outside of her work life, Zoe can be found in the open water, swimming laps in the pool, or training clients through her certification as a personal trainer.
